東京芸術大学美術学部先端芸術表現科の学部６期生34名による卒業制作展です。
　先端芸術表現科は、今年度創立120周年を迎えた東京芸術大学美術学部の中でも、最も若い学科です。
それまでの「美術」の分野を超える領域横断的な教育を目的として1 9 9 9 年4 月に開設され、来年度設立10周年を迎えようとしています。
　展覧会タイトルである「project the projectors 」とは、" 企画者" である"projector" たちが、自らを さらに前方に（pro）投げる（ ject ）ことを表しています。 自らをプロジェクションするという考え方に着想を 得て、学生自身の投企の姿勢を示していると同時に、社会との関わりを見つめ表現を模索する投企者であるということ、外（社会）へ投げかけること、またそれは、世の中から自分へ投げかけられているものでもあるという意味です。
　本展覧会において、3 4名の学生が、写真や絵画、映像やコンピュータを使った表現、身体を用いたパ フォーマンス、また空間そのものを表現の対象として扱うインスタレーションなど、多岐にわたる表現媒 体による作品を、4年間の研鑽の集大成とします。

Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music art department tip art expression department graduation production exhibition

It is a graduation production exhibition by the sixth graduate department of the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music art department tip art expression department 34.
　Tip art expression course is the youngest subject this year in the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music art department which greeted the 120th anniversary foundation.
It is established for the education that a domain more than fields of "the art" of then is cross-sectional in 1999 April, and is going to invite the tenth anniversary establishment in the next fiscal year.
　"projector" which is "planner" with "project the projectors" which is an exhibition title express throwing oneself forward.
What I pose to being projectors which I stare at the relation with the society, and grope for expression, society means that it is a thing posed from the world to oneself again at the same time I get an idea from thought to do projection of oneself, and to show an attitude of project of student oneself.
　In this exhibition, I do works by the expression medium for many divergences such as the expression that a student of three 4 used a photograph and a picture, a picture and a computer for, the performance that I used a body for, installation to treat space itself as an object of the expression again with the collected studies of the study for four years.
